the head ushers have adopted me for the summer. they make sure i'm doing well, bring me medicine when i'm sick, make sure i eat dinner. it's really cute. and makes me feel special. they know i'm from texas and that my closest family is in another time zone.
time has again come to a slow pace. i just want to go home. that's not completely true. i just want a job that doesn't have such a crazy schedule. i want weekends again. i want a life. to have fun. to live. to be young. because i am growing up, i need to have fun while i still can.
christmas in july is going strong here in my tiny village. we are doing secret santa at the theatre. keeps our morals going. makes things interesting. keeps us wanting to come to work day in and day out. we are all beat.
i just need to make it till the first week in august. then my time left will be short. or i need mr. utah to get hired for the last month to pick up my spirits.

I'm glad the ushers are taking care of you! That's really nice. I know what you mean about wanting a life! Theater is so crazy... do you have any idea what you will do when you get back here?
ReplyDeletei don't have the slightest clue. i'm going on a vacation, not doing anything in dallas/austin. first a small one in tennessee though. and i guess i'll look for work while everyone else is at their job. theatre might be crazy, but here's it's insane. only one day off every thirteen. it's why i need a life, and a vacation! i miss you to pieces!!!!

ReplyDelete7 painfully long weeks left. then i'm homeward bound!! man drama... calm down?... have you met me?! haha, i'm just not getting my hopes up for anything and letting things fall into place. once we all know what's going to happen, then i'll figure it out from there. new development: utah wants me to stop in tn for a few days on my way home. ...yeah. i'm just taking life as it comes before i make any big movements.
